Scapia isnât just about credit cards. Itâs about chasing sunrises in new cities. Eating something you canât pronounce. Going solo, then coming home with stories.
We build products that help people travel more and travel betterâwithout giving up on the other things in life. We believe travel adds richness to life. It changes people, opens up minds, and connects dots you didnât know existed. That belief shows up in everything we make, from features in the app to the way we speak.
Weâre looking for a Twitter-native copywriter who knows how to land punchy lines, tap into trends, and build a feed people actually want to read.
Youâll write like a real person (because you are one), with a tone thatâs clever, relatable, and unmistakably Scapia.
This is a writing role, but itâs also about thinking. Whatâs happening in culture? Whatâs the travel take? Can we start a conversationânot just post content?
Youâll work closely with design, marketing, and product to shape our brand voice on Twitter, and run a content calendar thatâs consistent, relevant, and fun.
Writing tweets that spark curiosity, laughs, or both
Turning product updates and offers into content people donât scroll past
Tapping into real-time trends with a Scapia twist
Owning and managing a weekly content calendar alongside the brand team
Building Twitter threads that inform or inspire travel
Jumping into replies, memes, or community banter when needed
Tracking what lands (and what flops), learning fast, and iterating faster
Helping shape our brandâs personality on Xâone tweet at a time
Scapia doesnât do brand-speak.
We sound like the friend who plans epic trips, shares real tips, and drops the perfect one-liner on group chat.
What we like:
⌠Clever without being cocky
⌠Friendly, not fake-deep
⌠Specific > generic
⌠Mischievous, not mean
Not this:
ââď¸ Wanderlust got me acting up đŠâ
âOur credit card slaps harder than your exâs playlistâ
More like:
âPack a bag, not excuses.â
âA credit card that earns rewards without making you read the fine print twice.â
âGo solo. Or with friends. Or with 3,500 photos for company.â
Youâve got 4+ years of writing experience with a very strong Twitter/X presence (brand or personal)
You understand internet culture, memes, and the rhythm of the timeline
Youâre quickâon your feet, with ideas, and on deadlines
You think in calendars, not just copy. You can plan content, then ship it.
You care about what works. You read the numbers, learn from them, and try new things.
You can match and evolve our tone: warm, witty, and transparent
You think creatively about formats, not just captions
Youâre proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working async
Youâve got a pulse on travel, Gen Z/Millennial behavior, and trending moments
Youâre okay with feedbackâand even better at bouncing back stronger
Weâre a tight-knit, high-energy crew with big ideas and even bigger ambition. We move fast, take ownership, and donât wait for permission to do great work.
We recently raised $40 million from Peak XV Partners and other incredible backers who believe in our vision. Weâre just getting started, and thereâs a lot to do.
Everyone at Scapia wears many hats, and we expect the same of our writers. Weâre looking for people who are hands-on, driven, and excited to solve problems with creativity and craft. People who donât just write the copy, but help shape what we say, and why we say it.
Weâre serious about the work, but not about ourselves. Weâll push you, support you, and probably send you too many memes along the way.
Your Twitter/X handle(s)âbrand or personal
A portfolio of short-form copy, meme-y ideas, or scroll-worthy campaigns
A quick note about why this role sounds fun to you
Weâre not here to spam people with offers. Weâre here to build a brand people would miss in their feed.
If that sounds like your kind of writing challenge, weâd love to hear from you.
