We are seeking an experienced & strategic leader for our Stays Supply function.
As the Supply Lead for Stays, you will play a critical part in driving the success of the Stays category on Scapia. You will be responsible for driving our hotel inventory growth, optimizing supply partnerships, and enhancing our competitive positioning in the accommodations market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy: Develop and execute the long-term strategy and vision for hotel supply, aligned with company objectives and market dynamics. Set ambitious yet achievable targets for selection, revenue and margin improvement
Market depth: Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets within the hospitality sector. Lead market research to understand evolving customer preferences and competitive landscape
Business Development: Build and nurture strategic relationships with partners in the ecosystem incl. Hotels both chains & independent, ops/catalog partners and more. Negotiate favorable commercial terms and experience drivers for Scapia.
Team leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of hotel acquisition and account management professionals.
Operational excellence: Drive end-to-end operational efficiency by streamlining hotel go live, implementing effective content management systems, collaborating with tech teams on platform enhancements, and establishing robust performance tracking mechanisms to ensure seamless execution
Stakeholder management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams including growth, product, finance, CX to prioritise development and enhancements
What you'll need:
6-10 years of work experience in an OTA or similar space where you have had hands-on exposure to the above areas and delivered
Mix of strategic and innovative thinking with a natural flair for building relationships with decision makers.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institution
Deep understanding of hotel distribution systems and channel management platforms
Strong communication & influencing skills. Very strong bias to action
Hunger to work hands-on in a fast-paced, innovative start-up environment
