Role Overview

The Category Manager – Holidays will be the business owner for the Holidays vertical, driving strategy, P&L, positioning, and growth. This role sits at the intersection of business, brand, product, and customer experience, ensuring that Scapia Holidays is not just a set of trips, but a distinct, aspirational lifestyle product.

You will partner with Marketing, CRM, Design, Product, and Tech teams to:

  • Shape the brand positioning of Scapia Holidays.

  • Create seamless discovery and booking journeys.

  • Drive conversion through personalized campaigns and customer storytelling.

  • Ensure strong unit economics and profitability.

This is an entrepreneurial, cross-functional role for a leader who can blend commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and consumer empathy.




Key Responsibilities

Business Ownership & Strategy

  • Own the P&L of the Holidays vertical; deliver growth while ensuring healthy margins.

  • Define category strategy, scaling Holidays from limited curated trips into a broad experiential platform (local escapes, international trips, workshops, volunteer programs).

  • Conduct market and customer insight analysis to inform product roadmap and marketing strategy.

Brand, Marketing & Customer Growth

  • Collaborate with Brand & Marketing to position Holidays as Scapia’s signature offering.

  • Shape campaigns and content strategy with CRM/Marketing to generate demand, drive conversion, and nurture repeat/referral customers.

  • Partner with Design to create compelling visual and storytelling assets for campaigns and trip launches.

Product & Tech Collaboration

  • Work with Product & Tech teams to design seamless customer flows (discovery → application → booking → trip experience).

  • Define customer-facing features that enhance decision-making (filters, itineraries, content personalization, waitlist management).

  • Leverage CRM and data to personalize communications and optimize funnel conversion.

Customer Experience & Insights

  • Partner with Customer Experience and Sales teams to ensure high NPS and retention.

  • Create feedback loops to refine product-market fit and ensure category evolution matches customer aspirations.




Experience & Background

  • 4–7 years of experience in Category Management, Strategy, Growth, or Brand/Marketing roles in consumer internet, travel, lifestyle, or premium services.

  • Strong track record in P&L ownership, scaling business verticals, or category growth.

  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration (marketing, CRM, design, product, tech).

  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate insights into strategy.

  • Prior experience in travel, lifestyle, or experiential products is a plus but not mandatory.
