We are looking for someone to drive Category Growth in the travel business team focused on Stays. In this role you will play a critical part in driving the growth and success of Scapia. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities, developing strategies, and managing the merch & supply to achieve business objectives for the category. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Market & Category Understanding: 
a. Dive deep into the world of travel trends and customer behavior of booking stays 
b. Stay ahead of the curve by analyzing past trends, competitors and understanding what makes travelers tick 

2. Growth Strategy: 
a. Merchandising Magic: 
i. Own the merchandising plan for the “Stays” category on our app—build, test, learn, and repeat 
ii. Ensure the customer journey is seamless and impactful, leaving them excited about every stay 

b. Customer Communication (CRM): Partner with marketing team to drive effective campaigns
i. Be the voice of Scapia. Ideate, optimize and enhance our customer communications across channels. 
ii. Create personalized, engaging content that makes customers come back for more 

3. Product & Tech Requirements: 
a. Work closely with product and tech teams to develop features that improve the in-app experience & overall customer experience (both pre/post purchase)
b. Help define business requirements that directly tie into your growth strategies. 

4. Catalog & Supply Enhancement: Collaborate with the supply team to expand the selection of stays and ensure catalog quality is top-notch 

5. Stakeholder management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, supply, finance, product, marketing to prioritise development and enhancements 

What you'll need: A passion for putting the customer first and thinking like a traveler! You would be expected to demonstrate deep customer centricity thinking & sharp on executing ideas. 
1. 3-6 years of experience in brand, category management or business analysis 
2. A degree from a Tier 1/2 school is great, but your attitude matters most 
3. A knack for creative thinking—you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo 
4. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python) is a plus 
5. You take action quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment 
6. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders 
7. You’re hands-on, love solving problems, and can work both independently and in a team setting
